Before you view my web page, I'd like to take some time to introduce myself. Last year as a Freshman at Newtown High School, i felt that i have grown as an overall student in many different ways. This includes how I Read, write, listen,speak,and view. But of course, there's still a lot of work inhead of me this year, as a Sophmore. My goals this year are just about the same this year as last, but there are a few minor changes.
The amount of material I read this year is something I would like to work on this year. I feel that I don't read as much as I should, so this year reading more is one of my major goals. My writing is something that I'm not too concerned with. I feel that my vocabulary works very well when I write. I think that for the past few years, my writing has been a strong point of mine.I think that as a listener, I am able to retain information that is presented to me. When I listen, I am able to focus on what is being said and give my full attention to the discussion at hand. Now, on the other hand, I feel that my speaking is one of my major drawbacks as a student. I feel that in the classroom situation, it's hard to get me to say much of anything because I am more of the qiet type, but this year I intend to make this another one of my major goals. I feel that my viewing skills are just about the same as my listening skills. I can take in the information that is given to me, and process it into intelligent thoughts.This year, i expect to accomplish most of my goals to try and take a closer step toward sucess.
Besides trying to become a better overall student, another thing I like to persue is my artwork. Art is something that I really enjoy, and something that keeps me busy all the time. I am proud of myself for the recognition I recieve in school and through the community. My art is something that I continuously enjoy doing and something that I would like to somehow persue in the future.
